| Lucy was stepped on! My (6foot 200pound) brother-in-law just stepped on my 3 month old Yorkie, Lucy. She yelped like I had never heard her yelp before. Now she is just very mellow and sleeping on my lap. What are some warning signs I should look for? Will she be okay? |

| OMG!!!! What part of the body? Look in her eyes ie: busted blood vessels, swelling on any parts of her body. I would call a vet and get her in NOW! How sad I hope she will be ok.

| If it were me, and she yelped that loudly and now she is sleeping and mellow, I would get her to a vet asap. There could be internal injuries. Please take her to a vet. How big is she?

| Oh my goodness! These guys are just so darn tiny and accidents can happen....especially since he is probably not used to keeping an eye out for her. I do hope that she is okay! Tammy |

| It was not too long ago where anther puppy was stepped on and killed by the next day> The family waited to take the pup to the vet, and he died. PLease get your puppy in the ER Clinic ASAP. There is not a min to lose. This is a major EMERGENCY. A tiny puppy can't and does not have the ability to handle such a trauma . I hope he/she is going to be fine, however please act NOW. This is a life or death situation!!!!

The 3 Musketeers Donating Member | I'm not belittling her. I am just very concerned for the puppy. And I'm sure that everyone else is. Yorkies are tiny and having one stepped on is very BAD for the puppy. The puppy needs to be seen by a Vet as soon as possible and the fact that she is sleeping or seems to be could indicate shock with possible internal damage. Better to be safe than to wake up tomorrow without a live puppy. |

| Look, I can see you are still online., I am sorry someone had to YELL at you like thaT to get through to you. This yorkie needs to get to the vet NOW!! NOT tomorrow. It doesn't matter if it is her bedtime. When someone said the last person who posted on here who had a baby stepped on and it died the next day, they were NOT KIDDING! If there ever was an emergency, this is it! GET OFF THE COMPUTER AND GET HER TO A VET FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!

| I do have a 3#2oz baby and if anything even close happened to her, I sure wouldn't be asking people online, and wait hoping someone might respond , what should I do.. Maybe I just have common sense and know that this could possibly or probably can KILL MY BABY...... I PRAY tha your not reading this but on the way to the emergency vet NOW!!
