| Penny gets spayed tomorrow - pray Penny goes in tomorrow morning and we are so sick about it all. After reading about all the deaths, it is not comforting to take her in. She will have the pre-lab work done and this will be a laser spay, so hopefully the stress will be minimal. Just thought I would post so you guys could keep us in your thoughts. This is my first dog to ever have surgery. Thanks much! |

| We are going to bed early since we have to get her there so early and it is about a 45 minute drive. I will let you guys know how it goes tomorrow. Thanks for being here for me. Others think I am nuts for worrying about a "normal every day surgery." |

| Best wishes from Missouri! Bailey was spayed at 6 mos - no problems here!! We did the laser too (nothing but the best for our babies!) No scars! Doc did a great job! I got to bring Bailey home with me that afternoon and I stayed with her the next day. Truth be told, it was uneventful for us. Good luck and keep us posted!!

| Awww, she will be fine. The lab work is a good first step to ensuring that she'll have a successful surgery. Keeping little Penny in our thoughts and prayers!

| Missy is getting spayed today too. I feel your stress. I'm so anxious right now! Sending lots of positive thoughts your way for both a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery.

| Penny is home! Penny is home and sore. We are so relieved and really like the clinic we took her to. Even though it is about 40 minutes away, we will probably switch to that clinic. We really liked the vet and her staff. Poor Penny, when she sits or lays down she makes a pitiful noise. They gave her Metacam today and sent home 3 more doses for us to give her once a day. I like this, they give pain meds, but not so strong that she can't feel any pain. That keeps her from jumping and hurting herself, but comfortable enough to sleep. Thanks to all of you for your support. |

| Oh YAY! Penny made it too! Our girls are tough hey? Missy also gets Metacam for the next 3 days. She's not moving around like Penny, so I haven't heard any whimpers out of her yet. She's very quiet and still. Here's some <<<good healing>>> vibes for your girl. I hope she has a speedy recovery!
