| About Stormy I spoke with the vet tonight and he said that she is doing better, she is eating and pooping normally. And that she shakes alot but that is because she is so scared of the vets there and I am sure being in a cage all day isn't very fun either. I was surprised to hear that he was actually going to do surgery on her nose the last two days but things got really crazy so he had to put it off. He said he is going to try and do it tonight sometime. So if you all may keep her in your prayers that everything goes smoothly, I am so nervous to hear that she is being put under. I am assuming that things are not as bad with her as I may of thought and perhaps all her problems are due to her nose. He didn't give me too many details but I think thats because he didn't want to say too much on the phone. I told him that I was willing to come in anytime of the night to give him a hand with her whether it be holding her or comforting her while he has to do something with her so she isn't so afraid. I asked him if it was possible to come in and visit this week and he said yes of course I can but I need to watch when it is because some of the employees may tell me I can't because technically I don't have a dog there. However he is leaving instructions for one of the techs and I am just going to go in after 10pm when he is there so I am not starting any troubles. I wasn't expecting the surgery so fast because he told me that would be last on his list and that this whole process may take a while but he told me he is going out of the country in the middle of April for one month. So now I am nervous again because I am not sure if his plans are to leave her in the office for a month or what. It seems he wants to get the surgery done and give her time to start healing before he goes so maybe she could be coming home? I will find out more later when I talk to him in person. So please keep her in your prayers that she has a safe surgery! |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I'm so glad you were able to find such a wonderful vet; I know this is hard for you, and you can look back on this and know you did the best thing for Stormy. My prayers are with you and Stormy during this difficult time. We don't always understand why things happen the way they do, but I'm very hopeful that Stormy will recover from this and have a bright future.
