Thanks to everyone for the well wishes! Maddie and Libby have not shown much improvement today, but they did show signs of life when my daughter and grandkids stopped by. They are very sluggish and have slept most of the day. When Maddie starts in with a coughing fit, Libby goes over to her and gives her kisses. It's so sweet. I don't know how their temps are...my thermometer broke and I need to get another. Our weather has warmed up a lot, but when I let them out to potty, Libby always starts in with her coughing...which doesn't seem like coughing to me. I just don't know...it is strange to me. They have only been on the meds for 2 days, so I guess I can't expect a big change this soon. I'll keep you updated. Right now, I'll take my little sweeties and go to bed!

I am sorry that Libby and Maddie are not feeling a lot better, Hopefully today you will see some improvement on the meds.

Momo had respiratory infection which lasted 3 months, he was on 3 anti-biotics. He wasn't coughing, sounded more like hacking, like he had to cough out a hair ball or something. The 1st vet said it was kennel cough, but numerous visits & 3 vets later, not to mention huge whole in my pocket...what finally worked was upping the dose of amoxidrops to 5ml from 1ml. Mimi never caught it from him & kennel coughs are supposed to be contagious. I hope the girls will get better soon & I've never heard of pets catching something from humans, but you never know.

Thanks to everyone for their prayers and well wishes for Maddie and Libby. I am happy to say that I have noticed a definite improvement. They are still running a fever, but much lower than a few days ago and they didn't spend the whole day sleeping today...they wanted to play and showed some life. They are coughing less too! They still have over a weeks worth of meds, so I'm sure by the time they are done with them, they will be feeling fine. I still wonder how they caught whatever this is, but it will remain one of those mysteries. Hugs to all!
