| Sick Baby! I am new to this so I will try to post this thread again. Earlier today Chloe had an episode of vomiting. She left eight little piles for me of what looked like undigested food. We thought that she had overeaten and that she would be fine in a little while. As the day has progressed she had not felt well at all. She has become less playful and can't seem to find a comfortable position to sleep. She is walking around and looks kind of humped up. Any suggestions as to what might be wrong? We thought that maybe she was sore from all the vomiting. Thanks!! |

| Thanks, I just feel so bad because nothing I do seems to make her any more comfy. I pray she gets to feeling better. We are in a sticky situation, because there are no Emergency Vets around here and her regular Vet doesnt open until Monday. |

| With that much vomiting and hunching over I suspect she needs fluids. Are you giving her pedialyte. Surely there is an emergency vet somewhat near you. I really think she needs to see a vet now. This could be something serious like pancreatis

| If you don't have a Er vet i would call my vet. sometimes they will come in. at least they can tell you what to do. if she is walking around like that she is most likely in pain. hope your baby is ok. |

| We live in a very rural area and the nearest ER vet is about 2hours away. We sat up with her until 4:00 AM this morning and then she settled down and went to sleep and slept the night through (at least what was left of it), this morning she is back to normal and feeling fine. We gave her lots of fluids last night and she loves honey nut cheerios so we gave her some of those but no food. She is her usual little lovebug self this morning. I am going to check with her vet on Monday to report her symptoms. She was just there on Friday and was perfect. Thanks for all your support. |

| If she is eating and drinking and seems fine, I wouldn't worry too much. Sometime the back arching can be a sign of having swallowed something, but not always. She may have just been in pain for a little while.

| We went through that 2 weeks ago with Luigi. Vomiting, couldn't get comfortable, constantly moving around, then yelping in pain. Finally had to take him to the vet, they did an x-ray of his belly. They saw something in there kept him for a few hours. They gave him some meds that made his digestive tract contract more. He finally passed with much pain a pen tip and something unknown. About 1/4 inch in diameter. He was so much better after that. Good Luck hope everything is OK. |

| Thank you guys so much for all your help. We have been keeping a very close eye on her stool, and everything looks normal. She is has started eating again, so I am not to worried anymore. We are going to contact the vet on Monday for her to run some tests, and xrays. I am just so glad she is feeling better today. |

| With excessive vomiting and hunching over, pancreatitis should probably be ruled out even if she is fine now.

| She is 5 months old, and she hasn't had any problems today. We will being seeing the Vet on Monday and hopefully we will recieve good results. My brother-in-law is a Vet-Tech and he said she should be fine until then, that she is hydrated and is using the bathroom normally. Thanks again for all your help!!! |
