| Benadryl Zeke has "failed" 3 groomers and I was ready to start grooming him myself. I even bought a set of clippers, good scissors, etc. As a last try, I gave him half a 25mg children's Benadry (asked the Vet about dosage and it's 1mb per lb.) According to the first groomer that he failed, he was much calmer and his and Zack's cuts look "cute" (see latest album photos). I do not know if it was the Benadryl or he has finally accepted grooming. For a few weeks prior I held the clippers while they were turned on close to him, did a few swipes on his belly, a lot of brushing/combing, touching/playing w/his feet. It all may change at the next grooming but he is ready to appear at the Yorkie Rescue group's outing this Sunday as a "poster" child. Sorry about getting carried away but we made progress.
