Princess has been home now for 24 hours. I am so happy to have her back with us!!! She is doing a little bit better. She still coughs a lot. I probably think that is a ositive sign of the pneumonia leaving her lungs. Oh how I hope that is what the cough is! I am not saying she is 100% yet bc she is not and I do not want to jinx myself. Once again, thank you to everyone for their thoughts and prayers

I will still kepp you updated!

I was away all weekend and want to express how much Princess entered my thoughts.

I am so glad to read she is back home with you again. Bless her little heart and I hope she continues to get stronger.

Schatzie, Thank you so much. That really means a lot to us that you keep Princess in your thoughts!! We are bringing her back to the hospital tomorrow for a checkup. Right now she seems to be doing somewhat better. Her breathing has gotten a lot better. I am just hoping for a good checkup and good health forever!!! I will keep the updates coming

She's still in mine too - I check everyday and I AM SO GLAD she's home ! I wanted to wait to see if you posted an update - how is she doing ?

Our prayers include y'all. In humans sometimes there is a problem and a little bleb forms on the lung. It bursts and air leaks from the lung into the chest cavity. Sometimes they will seal themselves off and never have a recurrence.
I hope your baby falls into the "never have another problem" category..

Glad to hear that Princess is doing better!!!! My Prince is due back in the hospital on Saturday for a follow-up. He is doing a lot better himself. He can walk with just a little limp, run, and jump. Both of them have been in my prayers.

YAYYY! I am glad Prince is better too!! Princess seems to be doing wonderful so far. The medicine we have her on is doing good. The doctor said she doesnt have a liver shunt, those tests came out negative. However, the bile acids showed a slight abnormality in her liver function. He said no big deal unless she is not getting better.

Listen to this, the other day I am at the pet store and a lady starts talking to me about how cute Princess is. Turns out her chihuahua just got out of the hospital with pneumonia and she went through the same exact things I went through. Then, like 5 hours later, my father calls me and tells me his client tells him he bought a yorkie and he came down with a bad case of pneumonia and he was in the hospital for a week in an incubator just like Princess. What is going on? How weird is that?

Well, we are heading to the beach for the next 1 1/2 weeks to let my little Princess "recover". Thsi will be her 1st beach trip! wish us luck

How wonderful. I'm so glad that she is doing so much better. You guys have fun at the beach you deserve it. Just have fun and relax. Which beach are you going to?

We are going to Myrtle Beach, SC. My fiances parents have a beautiful house there so we always take advantage of it!

Unfortunately, there is that hurricane Ophelia heading there now. But, at least it is a vacation, even if it rains the whole week

You guys have fun. I just noticed you are from Blowing Rock. My brother & sister-in-law live in Jonesborough, TN. My family went to Blowing Rock several years ago on vacation. We are orginially from Southwest Virginia.
