| Morning sickness in yorkies We bred my yorkie about 4 weeks ago and she is not showing yet, but she refuses to eat and I am getting concerned. She will eat hot dogs and lunch meat, only. This gives her the runs. I have been giving her nutrical twice daily. Has anyone esle had this problem with their breeding females? |

No I didn't but, I've only bred my once. But, I did read somewhere that dogs get morning sickness just like people. I'm sure someone will know more than me. Maybe try some premium can puppy food I make sure when I use this to use lamb & rice only.

| I also have a small yorkie and I have bred her once ,she got morning sickness and did not want to eat her food. She did respond well to some boiled chicken .It passed after a couple of weeks and she ate all the time |

| If she won't eat, boil some chicken, this will help. Nix the hotdog and lunchmeat not good with all those additives. Once she picks up give her a good puppy food for the extras she is going to need in her diet. I know this my sound funny, but has worked in the past for my females and I can't explain it, but take dry food add water to it, or the broth from the chicken you boiled.. to become soft and they will eat better too.
