| Big improvements Good morning everyone - it's 7.15am and Twinkle is feeling much better She was still refusing food last night but kept down water and her medication. I slept downstairs with her and she slept well. This morning she seems much better - she's had water and I've hand-fed her a few pieces of cooked chicken, which she's kept down. She hasn't pooped yet but she's peeing normally. I'm hoping that this is just a virus and is clearing out of her system now. She has a vet appointment at 9.10am so will update again after that. (The weird thing is that last night I was praying I had it instead of Twinkle and I woke up with the worst stomach ache EVER!) Thanks again for all your kind thoughts and prayers xxx xxx

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | That is so good to hear! I'm starting to think that maybe Phantom had this virus too. We never did find anything abnormal when he finally pooped. I'm hoping Twinkle will be just fine too.

| Just wanted to add...when I let Pixie out of her crate yesterday morning there was some yellow bile that she had thrown up in the night..she sometimes gets this if she hasn't had a snack before bed..I think it sometimes happens when her little tummy is empty...I try to give her a little something before putting her to bed at night now.

| Foamy yellow vomit My darling 7-yr-old rescue Yorkie was vomiting yellow foamy liquid 3 years ago when I first got him. It would come and go over the weeks, months, years. After many vet visits, xrays and anguish on my part, I finally realized on my own that Paco was reacting to ME. If I was upset or sick, Paco was upset and sick. It's been nearly a year since I figured it out, and my darling hasn't been sick since. Of course, he's ALWAYS affected if he gets hold of something he shouldn't eat. Well-meaning friends/relatives try to sneak him treats/table food. Once he ate half a bar of soap! But now that I try my very best to keep bad things away from him and keep bad thoughts away from me he's doing well! And so am I. |
