Hemiagic Gastritis???
 

please , has anyone else ever heard of this? i looked on Google and no results, it may have spelled wrong?
i got curious about it.

He was on amoxi... one week ago for 5 days
Is it Ok if his body is so weak now

Ahhhh, your little guy has had a rough go of it...I can see that you love him a lot! I'd probably feel worn down from so many Vet visits, too...but don't give up hope!

How is he doing now?

I would think that they will probably admit him and put him on IV antibiotics/fluids till they can figure out what's going on with him...at least for dehydration.

He sleeps ,is very dificult with the water. And his breathing is in regular intervals but a bit slower than normal.I checked the skin on his neck it doesn't stay up for long ,I hope he will be Ok for one hour

It is also possible that the antibiotics he was recently on could have irritated the stomach which caused the brownish color to the blood in his vomit. The fact that the color is brownish indicates "old" blood not recent.

That is good, I'd be more worried if his breathing was more rapid.

the vomit was brown liquid and there were two bits light red blood.That's wat's scared me

It's possible that from vomiting so many times he may have broke a little blood vessel in his throat which caused the new blood.

But, as long as he has not vomited since 4 am that is a good sign. He's taken water from you plus the honey, too (willingly or not) and that's also good.

He's been feisty and that's also good.

I hope it is from the throat.I'll have her check that.

An Update
 

We just got home and I’m horrified ,She gave us all the time we needed for explanation and everything. She examines him and said that his Intestines still make noises. She gave him 6-7 shots with Iron Vit.B complex, Something for the bleeding (to make it stop) something for the vomiting (to make it stop), something for the pain. Also she gave him thru the mouth some meds we use for gastritis
Brand Name: Almagel
Active Ingredients: Aluminium oxide, Magnesium oxide .
She suspects he has a gastritis or stomach ulcer and this is causing the change in the parameters in his blood work. He has to take this meds for 10 days with some oral pills for the same condition (ranitidine) and after his tummy is settled down she will do an n xray with barium meal if needed.
She gave me an electrolytes for him to drink instead of water bc of the diarrhea he had last night.
The last meal for the day has to be at 6-6.30pm and if he is still hungry after a few hours to give him just yogurt.
This is Ok
The worst of all is he has to eat wet Royal Canine food intestinal formula(veterinary) which as I saw at home contains pork meat. I can’t keep him hungry so I mix some of the food with some rice and fed him.
So I’m going to look for recipes for his condition, bc I’m not sure pork is very good right now.My other option was Royal Canine intestinal dry food.
He is Ok now, looks to me like he is hungry bc he makes some trips to the kitchen from time to time.
This was our third night with vomiting , but the previous two was just a little bit and during the day he is fine. We went yesterday and we did the bloodwork and he was fine and last night he wasn’t.
He is Ok drinking and eating ,but I’m scared what it will be tonight.
Whit my next post all the results (I have to write them down first)

So glad he is back from the vet and doing a little better! Also, very happy to hear that's it's probably just gastritis, which should get better w/ the medications. I know the food doesn't sound the best to you, but if he likes it - and he feels better on it, you could always just give it temporarily, and then change it after he has been better for awhile. :)

What is the vet planning on doing about the high liver enzymes?

She said that is posible this levels to be from his gastritis and his problems with digestion.
I'm going to seek a second opinion from my moms vet,but tomorrow. I haven't slept for more than 26 hours and from the time we got home just trying to make him comfortable.
My conserns at the moment are should i feed him Pork canned Royal Canine intestinal formula(bc of this enzime levels) or just to continue with chiken and rice.
I realy hope he is Ok this evening and during the night bc is very dificult when i cant call a vet when I needed

I looked at the ingridiens and the protein is only 8%. He likes it (he's never been fuzzy) I just Don't know is it Ok to start giving him only this or I have to mix it with some of his chiken and rice.He ate 4 small portions today every 2-3 hours and he drinks a lot from his electrolytes( i have to take the water away a few times)

I would use the RC until he feels better.
The food has to be converted to a dry matter basis to know how much protein it contains. When the water is taken out, it would be much higher than 8%.
I wouldn't want to give pork either but he really does need an intestinal-friendly diet if it is gastritis. If he doesn't do well on it, you can always go back to chcken and rice.

Can you tell me your conserns about his blood work.
I can recognise just 1/3 of the parameters.The vet said that the levels of the enzimes are just a little bit higher and the blood sugar as well, but we need to wait till he gets better and see then

I would retest after he feels better.
Liver enzymes need to be watched closely in Yorkies because they are prone to liver functioning problems. If the enzymes stay high, he needs a bile acids test. It wouldn't hurt to do one either way.

he just went potty and his stools are still runny and black,what I should expect,when they will go back to normal

Glad to hear that Darcy is doing better this morning! I agree that you should feed only as instructed by your Vet. This is just temporary.

I have a little one that I am fostering right now who's post op Bladder Stone Surgery. He must also be on a temporary diet right now that has almost all Protein stripped from it. As much as I'd like to sway from that diet and feed him like my own Yorkie's...I know it's for his own good right now.

A little bit late update
Darcy was Ok for three days and it started again with bloody stools. Another visit to the vet and we tested his stools for worms and some common viruses. They are all negative. We did an X-ray this morning and his small intestines are full of gas.
We going to do barium meal x-ray on Monday and we will see . Our vet said there can be two more things but we have to see the x-rays. She thinks it may be IBD(which explains the sugar levels and the liver enzymes in his bloodwork) or a thing we call here varicose intestines (if is this he may need a surgery)
I’ll post again on Monday or Tuesday .

Here is an Update
We did X-rays all Monday and one on Tuesday (5 X-rays with barium meal)
The first one was right after he ate the meal and it shows that the food he eats doesn’t stay in his stomach longer than 5 minutes (he is hungry all the time),the second one half hour later shows his food moved to his small intestines and is close to his bowel .The last 3 showed that his food stay in his bowel more than normal and on Tuesday morning was still there.
The food passage moves very quick in the beginning and very slow at the end.
He was diagnosed with IBD and Ulcerative colitis (which may not be chronic for now)
We need to restore and regulate his intestinal movement first . She(our vet) gave him vitamins shot and a medicine we call Nivalin , but he was kind of dizzy after that. So I called her and we agreed to live him for awhile (till Monday) bc for me he is a bit stressed from our every day visits to the vet.(I’m going to use this days to make him feel happy with more fun and positive activities)
She asked me if I can find Sulfasalazine ,Azulfidine (we don’t have it here, only for humans and the pills are 500mg ) And I couldn’t and now we have to find something else.
He is on a intestinal vet formula diet (canned ) but we will switch to dry Intestinal or sensitive.I also have to boil flax seeds and to give him just the water or flaxseeds powder.
He’s doing fine so far ,he is very brave little boy and I hope he will be a healthy one soon.

Poor guy :(. Can you get the drug online? You could do a prescription online or via PetMeds - they may have to charge more for shipping, but at least you'd have the right drug.

For ibd, I'd get him on a probiotic, digestive enzymes, and some fiber. Do you have Benefiber there? It is tasteless and you only need to give a tiny dose for small dogs.

A fish-based diet can be of tremendous help to a dog w/ ibd - it is considered the most hypo-allergenic protein for dogs, in general. A homecooked fish diet would truly let the intestines rest and enable them to heal while you're giving supplements and meds. Did the vet talk about a homecooked diet? Or are you more comfortable w/ dry food?
