| ![]() OK, it is 6:55 pm now and we just got home !!!! I left soon after the las t post i made too... AND I was on my way with Suzi and son in the back seat. WE were in A car accident on the way there. ![]() After all that my brother drove us all the way to the Hospital. At first the vet was wanting to keep Suzi and her medical plan topped $500.00 . She was not dehydrated, and he did A Parvo test on her first thing. She was negative. So the vet kept her all day for observation. That was tough to see her go in his arms and leave me. Suzi did not have any more eposoides , and refused food. The vet gave her Amoxillion and Metrondaz. I got to pick her up at 5 and we could hear her barking in the back. Suzi was absolutely estatic that we were there to come get her, I could barely hold her she was so happy ![]() The plan is now I give her anther dose of meds at 9 pm tonight, and just offer her water to drink. Then call the vet tommorow am and tell him how the night went. Then he said I can give her a little food to eat if she feels better. Because late last night is when she became ill again, but i may have fed her too early on before the "bug" past. Poor Suzi you could just hear her tummy rumbeling. He said he did not think it was Pancreites , (sp) because usually a dog yelps when picked up or touched on the sides. I actually did think Suzi could have eaten droppings from our birds... We have two cocketiels, but that is just a guess. I do not know , but she is being treated and I am hoping tonight will be better for the both of us. Today was hell, but, luckily nobody was hurt, and Suzi is home too. ![]()

![]() While I have no idea what the problem is, dogs do not always yelp when they have pancreatitis. Ellie had it and acted perfectly normal except for vomiting.

| ![]() Oh wow! I'm so glad there were no serious injuries today. I hope Suzi is on the mend and you can get a good nights rest.
