Thanks for the continued prayers and info. Im off for the next 7 days, so ill be on Icee watch. I just got back from band practice and icee is doing better. She actually ate some of her hard food..... she attacked it tyo 55555555aus12u222222222222 <------ icee jumped on the keyboard to tell you all hi. The phenobarb is working well. She hasn't had a seizure since she's been put on it. Her little body is trying to adjust to it. She gets a little shaky sometimes and is still constipated. We tried, mineral oil, meta mucil, milk of magnesia. But her little tummy is just tired i guess. It's amazing how these little babies know when they are safe. The minute she got home, her heart rate relaxed, respirations slowed, and she really looked better. Here she is now,

Well for all that where wondering. I am in Southwest louisiana about 70 miles from any Hurricane Katrina weather. Our weather was actually beautiful. BUT.........we sent about 12 of our guys (fire fighters) to NO, they are there now. Its not pretty. As you could imagine, there are dead bodies everywhere. Pray for their safe return. Thanks As for Icee, she is doing absolutely wonderful. Eating, sleeping, biting, peeing, pooping........YAY!!! She is showing very few effects from the phenobarb, so her body is getting used to it. Thanks for all the prayers. She is at about 125% now, lol Chad

Oh, what a precious baby! Just catching up on these threads. Chad -- she is THE cutest thing I have ever seen. I'm so happy to hear she is making a strong recovery. How scary to see your baby so sick! Keep posting those pictures! She is a doll.

Seizures My heart goes out to you and Your little baby. I also have a yorkie named Sgt. Pepper and he too has seizures. They started when he was 3 months old. He is now 11 years old. The seizures last any where from 1 min. to 10 min. All I can do when he has these sezures is hold him close to me and talk softly to him. He know I love him and somehow I think he knows that I am there for him. I also think that he sences that they are about to come on because he will come to me and sit at my feet and the next thing you know he has gone into an attack and I pick him up and hold him close to me. He has been to the vet for this problem and has been taking phenobarbitol for the last 11 years. I hate to see these spells happen to him but there really isn't anything I can do but love him and hold him and make sure that he does not hurt him self during the spell. He also had kidney stones and had to have emergency surgey to remove them. The vet found 15 stones in the penial shaft and he now pees through the base of his little penis. He dribbles down his leg everytime he goes potty and the poor little thing is so pitiful to watch. Sgt. Pepper only weighs in at 4.5 Pounds and has the heart of a giant. I know that I could lose him at any time and I have had to prepare myself for that. I hope that when his time comes to meet God that I am there with him. I want my little Pepper to know that he will not go alone. I know that I will have to deal with a broken heart when God takes my little buddy but I also know that he will no longer suffer...
