| Not sure My little Huey is 14 weeks. Last week he stayed over night at someone's house while I was gone. When he came home, he threw up and I just attributed it to eat scraps off the floor from the kids. Well yesterday, he had a dog treat, went outside to do his business and came in and slept. He woke up and threw up. I again thought it was because he was not used to having treats. Now today, he did not have anything unusual. He went outside, came in and slept and woke up and threw up. He then goes about like normal. He is eating and drinking fine. I have noticied that he like to eat the grass when we are outside. Could this have something to do with his throwing up? And if it does, how do you get him to stop? I am a little worried. Please help if you can. I am so new at this, I do not know what is normal and what is not. |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I am not sure what to tell you other than to call your vet...it sounds like maybe something is wrong with his digestive track but the vet would be the best bet!! I hope that he gets better soon, please keep us updated!!

| dogs will eat grass if their tummy's are upset. Others eat it just because it is there. However, if you have used any fertilizer, weed & feed, or other lawn products it could be that is what is making him sick. If it were me, I'd not give him any more treats for a few days and see if he improves, could be he is sensitive to whatever is in the treats. I'd also call my vet ASAP so that he is aware of the situation. |
