So sorry for you and your family.. Keep you in my prayers. I lost My Mattie last June to Encephalitis.. She was doing the same thing. It went so fast.. I still miss my little girl.. RIP Gizmo... Play with my Mattie at Rainbow Bridge.
Where in Michigan are you? if I might ask?

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I had to put Scooter down in July and it was one of the worst days of my life. Now little Gizmo and Scooter are playing at Rainbow Bridge with so many others. My prayers are with you and your family.

Im so sorry about your little Gizmo. I know how heartbroken you must be, as I've been there too. Be sure to give his brother/sister lots of love and maybe consider a new little friend to keep him/her company. I thought I would never do that but getting another did help my other baby (she was very depressed after loosing her sister.) God bless!

Thank you everyone for all your prayers.

I just hope my other Yorkie doesn't go into a depression. They played together so much, chased each other around, etc. I have been taking her on walks, and trying to keep her busy. The other night it was so sad, she wouldn't come in the house. It was freezing out and she just sat on the porch looking at the back yard. I think she was waiting for him to come home. It broke my heart.

I am so sorry for your loss. That must have been one of the hardest things to ever have to do. But, Gizmo is now free of pain (if he had any) and is with all of the other babies at the Rainbow Bridge.

Thanks everyone for your prayers.

It's been about a week and a half. I still miss him terribly, but I have been trying to keep busy. I know he is in a better place now. I just have to believe I did the right thing. Sometimes I feel guilty about it. I guess it is normal to feel that way. My other dog seems to be doing ok although I know she misses him. As soon as the weather breaks I'll be able to take her on walks and she will be happy about that.
