| Yorkie Encephalitis Update on My Girl. I apologize for the lateness and delay on giving all those who kept up with my girl's (Twix) condition. I know it's been about almost two months since her unknown condition. We ended up doing a spinal tap on her as our last resort on a Friday. Even the doctors at UGA could not entirely say that her case was Encephalitis, because though some of her symptoms were related to Encephalitis, other symptoms weren't. It sounds confusing, right? Well, to me too. Anyways, she had a spinal tap done on a Friday. After that, we brought her home and the doctor had ask us to start medication (Predisone) on her Saturday morning. But a miracle happen.... My husband had awoke early that morning to begin with breakfast. I stepped into the kitchen, and he said, "Twix seems normal, better!" I examined her to my fullest knowledge, and she did seem better. Know that, while she was sick, she had lost her vision and turned circles all the time... So I decided that I should call the doctor to ask if I should start Predisone on her since it seems as if she was getting better...he said not to, if we think she is doing better. Anyways, to make a long story short, she is ALL BETTER!!!! Doctors still do not know what happened and what caused her to do this, and why or how it just suddenly stopped and she got better... But a miracle did happen, and we did spend money..aahaha...I think she just wanted ALOT of attention...THOSE YORKIE BABIES! && Again, Thanks for everything!
