| Coughing puppy My yorkie puppy has been coughing, and it sounds like there is something stuck in his throat. He makes this sound about every 20 minutes. He does eat and drink normally. This has been going on since yesterday afternoon. I don't know what I should do. Is there something I can do at home, or should I call the vet? |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | It sounds like kennel cough. There isn't any cure and pretty much you have to let it run it's course. A vet visit is probably in order to confirm it. They may or may not prescribe medicine. Taking him into a steamed fill bathroom for 20 minutes will help with the congestion and a teaspoon of honey will soothe his throat.
