Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() When I got Cali she had coccidia and went hypogycemic and just wouldn't eat. I finally gave her Cesars wet food (bad food) but at least she was eating it. We did the Albon for 2 cycles and I fed her every 3-4 hours and she improved. But she was later diagnosed with a very mild liver shunt that requires no treatment. It was an extremely stressful and expensive first few months but she is 3 1/2 years old now and aside from some allergy issues is doing ok. So I would try and find something he will eat and worry about switching him to a better food when he is stabilized. They can go down so fast so you have to really watch him and if at all possible not leave him alone for any extended period of time. I hope he gets better soon

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() Thanks for the update. Did you get some Nutrical? That can be found at Petsmart/Petco - it's a VERY good thing to give to dogs in situations exactly like this; it can also stimulate the appetite as it tastes good and brings blood sugar back up (which can decrease nausea). I think it's crucial that you get this. NutriCal High-Calorie Supplement for Dogs and Cats - Health Care - Dog - PetSmart
