| luckylady, Your advice is very much appreciated!! I really makes me feel better about my decision to know that it is what so many others with furbabies that they love so much would do the same. I can't wait to have all of this behind us and Bucky healed up and back to himself. Thanks again! Quote:

| Your poor Bucky. You have been given great advise. I also would have the eye taken out, it's not serving any purpose at this point and can, eventually become infected, why take the chance. I want you to know that I am sending you prayer's for a safe surgery. Give Bucky a great big hug from Buddy and I. |

| Update!! We were at this vet this morning at 8 am for the surgery, they said everything went fine with the surgery, now we just have to wait to see how quickly he will wake up. He is still asleep, but I can go see again him at lunch time. He should be able to come home tonight, depending on how quickly he comes out of the anesthesia. I will keep you all posted. Thanks you guys again for all of you support and encouragement!! Tasha

| Admin hope this is ok to say if not, I hope you understand that it is in the spirt of helping a dog in need. I suggest you go chat with the gang at the yahoo group called blind dogs. If you need the link PM me. They will have a vast amount of understanding and help as they deal with blind and visually impaired dogs all the time. JL

| Glad it is over. Hope you are both feeling better. Keep us updated on how he's doing. It was interesting because my horse still "blinked" his eye even tho' it was sewn shut. It would twitch along with the other eye. It made it almost impossible to detect that his eye was gone.
