| layla is having a hard time keeping her food down Lay has had an off day- we travelled about 8 hours yesterday from ohio to home which is hard on her since we haven't done it in a while- so today she was sleepy this morning but that is normal- so this afternoon she ate a bit and then a few hours later threw it all up- Lay rarely throws up food- if she pukes it is bile in the morning- but she was acting fine- drinking- had a good poop today - has been playing- had her Kong (with treats in it) and then ate some more- and just puked that up. But otherwise seems normal- what should I do? |

| Watch her very closely. I wouldn't be too concerned with one puke but she keeps throwing up food and that is what Ellie did when she had pancreatitis...she couldn't hold anything down all day.

| I hope she feels better soon. Hopefully her little system just out of wack from travelling. I know I get all confused when I go out of town.

| Poor little Layla Maybe it's just the traveling that threw her off? Abby threw up yesterday, which is unusual for her too. Of course it has me a bit scared because she's supposed to be spayed on Tues. Anymore throwing up and we're rescheduling. I hope Layla feels better

| Well she is full of energy so i'm not overly worried- she doesn't seem overly bothered- keeps asking for her Kong ... lol... I think it is her NV freeze dried medallions actually- just started on those and i think they are bothering her- i'm going to look into the raw maybe.. the fat is quite high in the freeze dried- although she isn't getting much of it- i might rehydrate it too before giving it to her which should bring the fat back down to normal range. SHe also started a new "multivitamin" and her tummy is sensitive so probably all at once plus the car ride- was just too much for her- i just fed her around 8:30 a normal meal- no NV or multivitamin and gave her a bit of yogurt and she has kept that down- if she can keep it down until around 9:30 i think we'll be good for the night *fingers crossed* if it continues tomorrow we'll go to the ER vet |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Hopefully Layla was just a little off from the trip. Lastweek I took Roxie with me to run a few errands and it ended up we were gone about 3 hours which she isn't use to and that night she had diahrrea and threw up, but the next day she was fine,

| I wouldn't go with raw meat whatsoever! I'd let her digestive track rest for about 24 hours and give her water. Put her on brown rice with a little cooked lean beef and see if she can keep that down.

| well due to the pancreatitis she can't have beef- our choices are fish or turkey. And i need to use the NV freeze dried for the minerals and cal/phos (as per our nutritionist) we are definitly going to take a break from the freeze dried for a few days while i try to reintroduce her multivitamin- which seems to go over fine if she has it in the morning- but last night she ended it up having it at night because her schedule was all messed up from travelling |

| oh I did give her just her regular food no NV or anything with a bit of yogurt and so far so good- we played a bit and now she is in bed- i think that is her way of saying she is ready to go to sleep |

| Have you tried supplementing pro-biotics? Also, what if you cooked the raw medallions and added some rice just until she feels better? I don't know if that will work but its a couple ideas for you!
