Any ideas as to what is going on With Suzi?

For the past few night s My 9 month old Suzi has been shaking uncontrollable, and then she starts panting I have no idea why, because she has shown no signs of illness whatsoever. She is fine during the daytime. But, when evening rolls around she behaves as if she is terrified of something.
I turn on the heater in the eveing to keep her warm, then I hold her for long periods of time. THis is the only way i can calm her. She has not ever shown these behavioral signs before. just recently.
I wonder if it is because sometimes i have to leave the house , and she's alone. then we come back and it is like she is experiencing a reaction from us being gone?
Suzi is the type of Yorkie who is most happiest when she is right by us. She needs to be near somebody , mostly all the time. I can't take her with me always, and she hates car rides too.
Has any body ever experienced this with their Yorkie? She's eating, pooping and everything , but the shakes, and panting are worrisome. She is obviously upset by something. It breaks my heart to see her go through this, any susuggetions or ideas will be greatly apreciated.

Ramsey will pant and shake when she's frightened. Any loud noise will cause her to pant and shake.

If Suzi is doing this only when she's been left alone...I'd say it's a reaction to her anxiety.

My Jewels will do the same thing if she is anxious. Ssometimes she will shake for seeming no reason but she shakes and pants she is anxious

My Littlest Mac will shake and then pant whenever hubby cooks some strong smelling dinner! Anything with a strong odour starts Mac shaking so bad and then panting - it's like he's about to go into panic mode. Bacon and eggs, mini sausages (in the oven). I keep reminding hubby to turn on the fan sooner and open windows if the weather permits. It's distressful to ME to see Mac shaking and panting - I always scoop him up and cuddle him. Sometimes I take him outside for fresh air and he stops shaking... until we get back in the kitchen.

Oh but I did (just remembered) find something - seems if I give Mac a chewable (Everlasting Treatball, or Nylabone chewy) that it takes his mind off the cooking going on.

Most definately sounds like anxiety. Poor little girl.

OK, well my friend just came over, and Suzi peed on her pad, she said her urin looked dark.... Now is this a sign of a kidney infection? Or does it look that way becuae she jsut peed on a white pad, and in humans sometimes, if we don't drink enough water then it looks dark? She does not seem to be in any pain whatsoever, and is absolutely fine anytime else.
Kidney infection? Now my friend scared me.....
I think it is anxiety, I have seen her lift her nose up in the air like she she smelling something, also, i have to turn on the fan when cooking too. SHe is a lot more alert during her scared eposoides too. Meaning that every noise she hears she is perked up.
I also believe Suzi is always happiest when I am here with her, or my son. SHe loves people and just wants to be aroud humans, and have that strong connection. But, I can't always be with her 24/7. I have to go out to take my son to the medical appoint. and such.
We have to drive 37 miles one way just to shop, and for appoint. We are in a tiny town in the Valley.
I only know she behaves like that in the car, not at home, up until recently.

she does this when we have come back.... .it is like a delayed reaction , for us not being h ome. Then I am wondering if it is the time change too, getting dark so much earlier now, and colder faster, but it always is when were back. My son noticed her behavior too, and he became alarmed.

Lexilyn does the panting and shaking thing too. Only when we're in the car. She used to be fine on car rides then it started raining one day and I turned on the wipers. They terrified her. Now, she is increasingly worse every time we get in the car. I'm going to try putting her in her crate to see if that gives her more security. Maybe something spooked your baby too and started her panic attacks.

Here is an update on Suzi...
I was out of town Friday to take care of my son's medical needs, he has to have allergy shots and now needs A referral to A oral Surgeon about his teeth!
Anyway, I decided to stop by And talk to our vet about her behavior. the vet felt like it is more of a behavioral thing then anything medical. I am suppose to not pay attention to her when we first get home, wait until she calms down , then give her love, also he then said for me to take her for A walk outside.
I thout his suggestions were good, however, for me, I can't ignore my baby right when we get home I just can't. We live in A tiny town and have to travel to the bigger cities for everything, which the closest one in 37 miles one way.
I did give her TLC when we got back, and instead of going to the computor, after that, I sat on the couch and spent more time with her. She just needs more attention !
Perhaps she is used to getting A lot of attention, but , that should not be a big deal correct? She is after all, my 'baby" . I am usually home a lot with her because I am disabled. She does recieve lot's of love. Suzi is the sweetest dog , and just wants to be with people.
the vet suggested I set up my video camera too, and then leave for 15 min, come home and see what she is doing when we are away. I liked that idea too.
I know i am just A worry wort, however, Suzi is the most amazing puppy , she deserves the best, and the most love that we can give her. that is what she does for us in return
