| Weepy/swollen eye lids General Lee has one eye that is weepy and the eye lid around the eye is swollen. The eye is very clear, but he wants to rub the eye on the carpet, the grass any thing he can get to. I just gave him an allergy pill from the vet and he has an appointment to see her, I was wondering if anyone else has seen or had this and is there anything I can do until he gets to see her. |

| My Ceasar has had lots of eye troubles. Mostly,it's from him constantly sticking his head out the window when he's in the car. Maybe your baby just got something in it and scratched it or something. I hope it's nothing too bad.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | My pom had an eye infection and it sounds like what you are describing. They gave me ointment to put in her eye and by the next day it was much better. Hope General Lee is better soon.

| My schnauzer had the same type of symptoms - vet said he had scratched it on something and gave i think drops and ointment to put in it and checked him out again within the week. He had to wear the big cone collar thing to keep him from irritating it further and to keep the medicine in.

| Got back from the vet, General Lee has conjunctivitis in one eye. The other one is clear. I have drops. I also found out that Terriers are very prone to allergies. So he will be on allergy pills until we get our cold weather which is due this weekend with highs in the mid 40's. Would you believe he is 9.8 pounds! At one year he has to go on a diet! The vet only wants him at 9lbs. |
