| I went to the grocery store at lunch time to buy baby asprin and they no longer make baby asprin for children only adults! The baby asprin package states for adult use only. It's 81mg which is what baby asprin is but it's confusing when it states not for children and babies. Since they have taken all the over the counter meds off the market for children I guess they re-worded the baby asprin also. I was totally confused as to what to buy! So I bought baby asprin for adults and not to be used for children and babies ,per package. |

| They are not recommending aspirn ofr babies or children anymore...maybe that is why that is on the package. Call the pharmacist & tell him what you are using it for. If he can't give you an answer, call the vet. PS-I give my boys their meds in a spec of peanut butter off of a spoon. Never get a no from them. |

I did call the vet and he said baby asprin. I know baby asprin is 81mg so is this but the wording has been changed making is confusing for buying baby asprin. Thanks for the suggetion on the peanut butter. Good idea. I have used cheese in the past for meds also. | |

| Carol, I hope that both you and Buddy are feeling better. I am so very sorry - accidents do happen - and they make you feel like such a bad mom. Hugs to you both |

| Buddy was fine when I got home last night. What a freek accident. I am so very grateful his leg is not broken, dosen't appear to be sore either. He's such a strong little fellow. Thank you all for caring so much. I did post a thread telling everyone he's ok. The wind was so bad yesterday a tree fell on my daughter's new Honda Accord going right threw the rear window and smaching up the trunk and roof! I feel so bad for her. |

| Therapy Dog Donating Member | Carol ahh I'm just seeing this too. How is Buddy doing today? Better I hope. Carol the wind here was and is still bad so I can only imagine poor Buddy's little leg. I hope all is well and good to know all about the kids aspirin as I don't have little ones anymore and would be looking for that orange Childrens' Bayer Aspirin.
