| Gizzie has been squatting every minute or so to urinate, and she acts as if she feels bad but shes not whimpering or anything. I think she has a uti. Should I wait until tomorrow to take her to her vet or do you think I should take her now, I really dont like the er vet we have here so I would prefer to go in the morning, but I dont know how potentially serious this could be... any advice?

| I would call the ER vet and see what they say. Tell them what you think it is. But I'd bring her in. Dogs will deal with a lot of pain before they show it and you dont' want her suffering. |

| Poor baby. ![]() UTIs can wait a day just like in people. The concern is that it isn't a UTI but stones and that shouldn't wait, so it is okay to be cautious and go in. That said, when Ellie did that, I made her wait.

| Awww. Poor little girl, hope she feels better soon. Just wondering, has anyone ever tried cranberry juice on their dog for a UTI? Interested to know if this juice would be harmful to the dog.
