Ohhhhhh what sad news.
First of all THANK GOD that little guy has YOU in his life.
You have been given lots of WONDERFUL advice from very caring members here so far. I know it must be overwhelming to you right now but from what I have seen/read here it CAN be fixed and your little baby can have a healthy, normal life. GOD BLESS and ALL THE BEST to you and that sweet little darlin of yours.
I am sorry that you were lied to BUT things happen for a reason and I believe HE NEEDED YOU in his life. THANKS from the bottom of my heart for taking him in and I will look forward to seeing a glowing healthy report (WITH PICTURES) down the road. HUGS AND PRAYERS :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa

Another post that really caught my attention while I was having a YT fix today and I see the OP has not been back yet


Please update just as soon as you can which rescue you got your baby from. Liver Shunt is definitely serious so lean on your YT family for support and prayers and also you can go to the "SEARCH" tab at the top of this screen and type in "LIVER SHUNT" to do some research on people that have been through it or are going through it...

I'm so sorry for the poor little baby, but that was awesome for you to take it in. Keep us posted. You will be in our thoughts and prayers, YT will continue to lift you and your furbaby up in prayer.

Bless this poor baby. I actually saw him on a web site last week. He looked so helpless. The web site was Yorkie Teacup and Toy Yorkies available we also breed Yorkie mix puppies as well as Maltese pups in Teacup and Toy sizes. The baby was on the resuce page. There were more little babies that they were trying to sell. I really feel for this baby, and your family. This breeder needs to be shut down for what they do to these little angles.

If a liver shunt is suspected, please contact the University of Tennessee. They are very good, and know their stuff when it comes to these little ones. The cost is around $1,400.00 if surgery is needed.

I just went to look for the rescue section and could not find it. What is up with that anyway? That is so sad that they would have a section for rescues. It sounds like the bargain basement/bruised and reduced section.

I'm hoping that this little guy will get the surgery he needs if he does have LS. It was not very responsible for this breeder to do this IMO.

Please do a search for Jane Dane and you will be so very, very, very astonished by what you will read :(

Those poor, poor, poor pups ~ what a life they have to live coming from that place...

I BEG you to not return him, he will surely be put to sleep OR sold to someone else that will not care for him...

If this is too much for you to handle please let us help you surrender him to a Reputable Rescue that WILL get him the care that is needed :(

...I can't believe that place actually put a 1.4 lb sick baby on a flight from TX to Seattle - makes me so sick :mad:

I just went back and looked, they have taken this little baby off their site without stating adopted or anything. These people are so cruel!

Look at the link I posted above. He is still listed but it says adopted :(
