| my yorkie won't eat! Does anyone know if this is a symptom of anything ? He won't eat his food i've tried all different kinds, soft, dry, both. He doesn't even eat a treat when i offer it to him. I'm so worried. He's been like this for about the past week or so... Does anyone have any suggestions? thanks in advance. TYANN

| Does he still play regularly and have energy to run around? Is he dehydrated at all? I'd suggest going to a vet if he has been that way for more than a few days... Make sure his gums are pink. Are there any treats that your Hunter likes? Good luck tyann! |

| Wow, hasn't eaten for a week? I would get him to a vet asap. Yorkies generally will generally go into hypoglycemic shock after missing two meals so this sounds like an emergency situation. Hope he is better soon. Please keep us updated. |

| That is a lot of days for such not normal behavior in eating. Id check with your vet to have your Yorkie checked out.

| It is not normal behavior for a healthy dog to starve him/herself! This being said a yorkie can sometimes be a picky eater but as with other dogs will eventually eat what they have been given because they will get so hungary. More than a day or 2 would be cause for concern in my opinion. I would monitor their elimination of body waste and consult your vet right away!
