| throwing up I hate to bug everyone with another post but Callie threw up yesterday once early morning and she threw up again this afternoon/night twice one right after the other and I notice her stomach keeps making like a gurgaling sound. Can yorkies get like a stomach flue? She hasent been eating bugs and there was nothing abnormal in her throw up? Any ideas? I dont want to rush her to the emergancy vet when other wise she is acting normal. I was going to just watch her extremly well over the weekend and if she is still throwing up call the vet monday. Does that sound ok? Is there anything I can do to calm her tummy and make sure shes dosent get dehidrated? Thank you.

| you can give her pedialyte. if she won't take it from a bowl at first, you can give it to her with an eyedropper. I have used pedialyte many times with great results! I have also heard that you can give them a little bit of peptobismal to calm their stomachs

| Dogs do throw up for various reasons, mostly harmless ones but if it continues I would check with your vet. We had a yellow lab that kept throwing up and she was found to be diebetic. |

| Also yogurt and cottage cheese seem to work well to help settle their stomachs. You can also use alittle bit of peptobismol.
