I always used baby food , when i am weaning puppies i mix some with the dry food.... when we have a mom that is feeling nausea and needs to eat and it is not due date yet, we give baby food. My Penelope got sad and crazy when someone close in my family got sick and had to go to a hospital for a long stay and she Jumped on a set of stairs, she broke her leg in 3 parts and needed surgery, well, she was on baby food for about 2 weeks as the strong antibiotics were making her stomach upset with the dog food. Eventually she ate some "science diet A/D" . Well, since i found this A/D food i am using less and less the baby food it self, just because i bought a couple jars and when i opened them i saw "mildew" growing, and they "stunk" so bad... well... i think i would be very cautious to feed it to my child too after that ....
