| Rabies I don't know if this is an emergency, excuse if not.... I was playing tug-of-war with my 3 months and 3 weeks puppy (who has not yet gotten her rabies shot. She is due next week) and she was growling and biting her toy when her tooth caught my finger and broke a little skin and made it bleed. Should I be worried and get Anti-rabies shots ASAP??? | Does your pup have any strange neurologic symptoms or has she been exposed to wild animals? If not, I'd say no. I don't know the laws in your area about reporting dogs that have bitten but this is just a pup and it was just a play bite and the chances of her having rabies are next to none, so I wouldn't worry personally but if there is any doubt in your mind, you can always call your doctor.

I agree. Unless she's been exposed to rabies I wouldn't worry. | |
