♥My Lil' Monkey Girl♥ Donating Member | HeLp Im Not Sure! Okay so i had the litter out playing its now almost 7 weeks! They were all playing and then at different times had to go potty I noticed that one of my little girls was trying to go and she has tried to go for awhile now. She finally did it but then later seemed to have to go again. I then checked her and her bottom has what looks like a red bubble like dot and none of the others seem to look this way. Is she okay? Is there something wrong???? PLEASE ANYONE!!!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | You mean to the side of the opening or covering it or ? I don't know - at this age, I'm kind of at a loss here...do you want me to move this to the breeder section?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Oh, poor baby! It definitely looks irritated! At least it's on the periphery of the opening though. It looks like some sort of blister, or outpouching, or hemorrhoid (?) - I'd call your vet right away. He/she may just tell you to put cortisone/diaper cream on it, but this lump may need to be seen right away too.

| It looks like a pretty good case of 'cannon butt', not sure of the proper name. You really have to watch your babies at this time as poo can get stuck and Mom may not be cleaning them. Until it goes away and returns to normal, your baby will have a hard time getting the poo to release so check regularly. Remember that it's irritated and sore so be gentle when cleaning. It's fairly common but, like all things, can get serious. Just make sure to check all their rears every day (maybe a couple of times daily) for stuck poop. I have some now that are 10 weeks and my smallest boy just went through this, though not so severe a case. |

♥My Lil' Monkey Girl♥ Donating Member | Okay so vet said sounds like it was just irritated sounds like an irritation to but cortizone or some type of cream like cortizone on it and if it does not seem better in the morning to bring her in.
