| Help! Puppy acting weird I have a 6 month old yorkie. He sleeps in the crate at night. One night, he heard some screaming noise and barked for a while. I let him out of the crate and he just stood near the door, making this small barking noise..almost like a cough. He did it for over an hour! He was at the door the time. He wouldn't respond to me, even when I gave him a treat. Now, he's been doing this like every night. He'll wake up randomly and do it. The noise he makes is weird. Someone help me. |

| Hi welcome to ytIt might help to leave a radio on in the room he sleeps in at night. It will keep him from hearing the outside noises that are making him unsettled. Just an idea....I hope it helps xxx xxx

| my little one does this too.. like a combo of barking couging.. like it comes from deep inside her. I do not allow her to do this. I say "enough" and distract her with a toy or game. I know its hard but if you want the behavoir stopped you have to be firm
