| My little Chocolate living with Addision Disease Has anyone had a little Yorkie that has Addisions Disease. It is horrible disease . Our little 9 month little girl got sick Thanksgiving . She started throwing up and then just keep throwing. We took her to the local he thought she had a liver shunt . They put her on IV over night and gave us some special food for liver damage.and to take her home. But he said if she got worse take her to Northwest Vet Hospital in Clackamas Oregon. The are the Best in the Northwest They were preparing to operate and repair her liver$2600 Then she almost die in our arms they put her on IV' Checked her Electrolights . One was way high and one was way low . The Spec. Dr. said he thought she might have Addision Disease and gave her a blood test that had to be sent to a special Testing Lab 2 days later we got the results and it was Addisions Disease Very Rare in young dogs. (John Kennedy Disease) They started her on Perdisone and another steroid to be injected for the rest of her life. She has done well up till now. Now she has diarrea and been throwing up again. It seems that she always gets sick over th weekend In the middle of the night. Her hospital was over $3200 most was diagnosis |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am so sorry to hear about your baby. She is so young. I have a 11 year old pom who was diagnosed with Cushings which is like the opposite of Addison's. They are both terrible diseases and the treatments are so hard on them. I will keep your baby in my prayers.

| Sorry to hear about your little girl. I wish you(& her) the best. Have you contacted the breeder you got her from? I've never heard of that disease. Hopefully someone else can shed some light for you. Praying for your little one!
