I was wondering since this dog spends lots of time outside, if he may have eaten something that didn't agree with him. Most of us with indoor dogs have a pretty good idea what our dogs have eaten, but with an outdoor dog, there seems to be a much larger access to things that could cause a problem. |

Brudas is doing much better! He pooped today with out any blood (and yesterday night too). I went to go see the dealer.(who is also our preacher). He said to give him goat wormer for three days. Last night when I got back from the hospitle I gave him some Kayro syrup and forced about 38 cc's of liquid down him. this morning his nose was wet and he was acting a lot better! I still have to take him to the vet in a week to get some of his teeth pulled. I'm going to the MFA today to get the wormer. |

I guess I think people have been very nice and helpful in the 11 pages of this thread. ( except for the spelling part) Offering advise on what to feed for a upset tummy, food advise, ask for a low cost spay and neuter, yorkie rescue, payments to the vet ask your aunt for help thats a show breeder. Posters really try to help I think, but it's getting stranger by the minute. Now the op wants advise on where to sell mixed pups for $25 each to help pay the bill. The yorkies live outside in a dog house with a AC unit and heat. Do dog houses even come with that? I've never seen one, but I could be wrong. I don't think they put a whole kennel for 2 dogs, again I could be wrong. Now the op is off the the store to feed the dog that has a upset tummy ( or worse) some goat wormer for 3 days , because thats what the dealer/preacher said to do. I think I read goat wormer :confused: ( talk about bloody stool :( ) |
Goat wormer? Isn't a goat about 30 times the size of a Yorkie? I hope she realizes this before administering that stuff:( |
Goat wormer???? My husband buys and sells all kinds of animals, and has a lot of experience in treating them with help from the Vet. Goat wormers can be used on dogs, they are, , (Safe Guard, Valbazene and Ivomec) they tell you what cc's to give at what weight. They can get worms from fly eggs and if they are outside they probably have that problem. "Don't beat up on me, PLEEEESE", that is just what he told me. LOL |
I won't offer any advice other than....if your dog does not receive the proper veterinarian care...there will not be any dog to breed. :( |
