Avie may have a couple of different things going on at the same time. Lady's low thyroid was discovered when she was battling a UTI. She also had the classic symptoms, though. You'll know soon enough. The test is pretty definitive.

| Update: We saw the vet today.. He put Avery on Thyroxine for her hypothyroidism.. (1/2 a 0.1mg tablet, 2x's daily!) (i got a copy of the results from the blood work done.. not that i really know how to read them?!?) everything else seemed well.. no more fever or anything like that! he did check out her LP(which we knew she had) he said she is grade 2 in both legs(the left one, he said is almost grade 3!!) we are ordering cosequin and hope this helps her!!!! ..she was on glycoflex before! she is most likely going to need surgery, though! thank you, so much.. for all the prayers & well wishes everyone!!

Cosequin Regular Strength (90 capsules) I just can't rave about Cosequin enough. I had Lady on Glycoflex for years, but her arthritis was so bad she had to go on steroids for a couple of years. I had to wean her off them because she got steroid induced Cushings. My vet prescribed Tramadol daily for pain, but I also switched to Cosequin at the same time. After a few months I was able to get her off the Tramadol, too. I give Lady the full capsule every day. She weighs about 7.5 pounds.
