| help with bloated belly.... I have a question...... I took my pups (4 wks old) to get there first wormer and the vet told me it was ok to mix a lil milk with there puppy chow, get it mushy and let them start eating a lil of it. Well i did that and one of my pups has a bigger belly and its kinda firm. I think she may be constipated although she pooped earlier or she is really full. Im not sure and im really worried the others arent like that. If she is a bit constipated how much pumpkin do i give her she is 14.7oz or should i not give her any please help i need advice im driving myself crazy.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I woud wait until morning if the only thing is a bloated tummy. I have had puppies over eat when they first start on food. If the puppy still seems bloated and exibits other thing tomorrow then I would worry. Here is an example of an overeater. This puppy is now 15 months old.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | The one in this picture was an over eater and turned out to be small compared to others in the litter, go figure.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | The eyes look bright and if the puppy is acting OK I would not worry. Sometimes when they over eat they lay on their back and that OK. I've actually seen bigger. If he doesn't go potty you can wipe him/her with a soft wet rag to stimulate if mom doesn't but she should do it. What is a cutie!

| Hope your little one does just fine. Maybe you have just a hungry little one. Hopefully it will be fine today.

| I just have a question. Why are you worming those tiny puppies. If the mother does not have worms, and none of the rest of your dogs have worms and the dog is not taken where other animals defecate why would your puppies have worms. JMO but I think putting those poisons into such tiny babies is dangerous and unneccessary unless they have worms |
