Jeri, is there two things going on at the same time? Like the overeating and then the fainting? Seems like she faints when excited, so could that be the heart area that's in question? I had a dog one time that was constantly starving no matter how much I gave her. She could eat till she vomited and then eat again. I don't think she had the sensation in her tummy telling her it was full. I sure hope the little munch comes out of this just fine. Can't wait to meet this little piglet!:D |

It is so funny, she was perfectly healthy three weeks ago. Then I decided to get her checked and the vet said she is a 'little' overweight. Hence the blood work and the diet. That is when everything went haywire. You will love Krissy everyone says she is the sweetest dog they ever met. Of course that was the OLD Krissy! We will she how she is on the 23rd! |

I would have to agree, this requires further investigation. I do hope you are able to find out what is ailing Krissy...and that she will return to the happy girl she once was. It does seem to have something to do with her weight gain and excitability/anxiety. Did they test her thyroid function? Feel her neck for an enlarged thyroid gland? How is her heart rate? I know you must be worried sick...I would be too. So sorry this is happening to her, I'll keep her in my prayers |

i am so sorry krissy is having these spells. I hope she will be ok, and it will be discovered soon as to why she is having them. I know you are a good Yorkie mom, and will take care of her. :aimeeyork |

Update, it is getting very hard to watch Krissy fainting. It is happening more often. Today they did a complete blood serum and took x-rays from the top of her head to her stomach. Her blood pressure and trachea is fine. She has a fever and a enlarged heart and liver.:( Looking at the x-ray broke my heart, she looks fat due to everything being enlarged. The three vets actually say her faint and were shocked, only one had seen it before and wouldn\'t say what was the cause because she didn\'t want to worry me. Tomorrow she will have a EKG and them we will schedule an MRI. Two things come to mind - Liver cancer or a brain tumor. It doesn\'t look good so please keep her in your prayers! |

Krissy will be in my prayers!!! |

Jeri, I\'m so glad you went back in to see what is causing this. Was the vet there that said nothing was wrong?? I am so sorry but I had a feeling never hearing of anything happening like this it might be serious. I\'m hoping it\'s something were medicine can help her. The enlarged heart and liver has to be taking alot out of her. I will keep you and Krissy in my prayers and hope that the outcome is workable and will make her life comfortable. Hugs, Joan |

Jeri, we will be thinking of you and little Krissy. Hoping for the best. |

Sorry you are going through this. I know what it\'s like to worry about a furbaby. Not fun at all. Hope all goes well for both Krissy and you and that it\'s not something serious. Sending hugs your way. |

I started out reading your thread and it didn\'t sound too serious. But then I got to your last post and I am so sad. Please accept my prayers for you little Krissy. Joanne |

OK here is where we are at so far: All the blood test show she is within normal ranges, the utinalysis showed normal, the EKG will come back with results this after noon. So after 1000.00 still not sure what is wrong. We may need to do the MRI next and it that doesn\'t show anything then there are a few other things to check. Please keep praying for Krissy - no fainting today so far. |

Jerry, I am just now seeing this. I am so sorry that Krissy is having these problems and I\'m sure you are stressed watching your little one collapse so often. I will keep you both in my prayers and please keep up updated. |
