I just came across this now, I am pretty knew here and I just wanted to say that I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how hard that must of been but I read all your posts and you did all you could for her, you were a very good mommy! I also know how tough it is with small children, you are very strong! That is so strange that you keep thinking you hear her footsteps, who knows many she is still with you !

kidney failure i am a newbie to this forumn and hope i am going about this right. i have a yorkie baby, Tyler that is in kidney failure. He is on R/n diet and also 1/2 a pill for kidney supplement, he is taking 1/4 aspirin every other day. this is the treatment by my vet. i asked my vet about Azodl. She did recommend it saying that that have had good results with it. Tyler is nine years old baby and my best friend. Could someone recommend how i get this capsule down his tiny throat? has anyone have success admistering this to their baby. Any suggestions will be appreciated. thank you sunshinegirlone.

Senior Yorkie Talker | Hi sunshinegirlone i will share with you my info Hi my name is Karen and you asked me for help with the pill for your fur baby..I tried putting butter all over it and sometimes it helped to get it down other times not.I am sure you are getting a lot of advice from others on Yorkie Talk..there are a lot of wonderful and helpful people here to help both of you.I did do subcutanous fluids and that seemed to help alot.If you want to talk I would be more than happy to be a friend for you and your furbaby..I work in the medical field but not this end of it.If you ever need to pick up the phone for support i will give you my number.I guess this is legal on this site..772-538-6618....I feel so bad for both of you but keep a positive attitude and don't give up. |

question please i have read on the post that someone was able to buy Sub-Q fluids outside of a vet office. i need to maybe put Tyler on so i thought i would ask where you buy it. Can i get it online or through a box store? He went to the vet today and i am waiting for results on his bum and credine. I read it on this formun but; i just don't seem to be able to find it. Is anyone on this forum able to suggest where. i live in central Florida and of course; i don't have any kind of health insurance for Tyler. We are seeing the vet every two weeks for blood and meds. I am really worried now about my furbaby. He is very special to me. i appreciate any help for any other parents that face this. thank you, sunshinegirlone

Another question Please forgive me if i asked this question already, i have been on the net all day and so brain is swimming. Tyler went to the vet today and waiting for the blood results. This is a holiday weekend so i will not hear anything until Tuesday. My question is i live in Central Florida and would like to purchase the Sub-Q fluids, on line. Does anyone know a webiste that i can purchase from? My vet is quite expensive, so i would rather buy it myself. Also can i buy it from Walmart Pharmacy? please help this furbaby who is my special friend. He seems to be doing okay but; i know i am buying him some time. any help is well appreciated. thanks again, sunshinegirlone
