| coughing/sneezing hi, I'm new and i was just wondering if anyone has any kind of knowledge or information on dogs wheezing and coughing and sorta like a sneeze.. any info would be greatly appreciated thanks! lovemy2boys: |

| Yorkies do what is called a backward sneeze. Kind of like a snort over and over again. Is this what you are talking about?

| hi, well im not really sure i would describe it as a snort but more like he is coughing up a hair ball or something its hard to describe.. but any info you have on this i would love to hear.. he doesnt do it everyday but he goes through little phases i guess you could say.. anyways thanks for responding im curious to hear what you know about this... thanks lovemy2boys |

| I wish I had more information for you. the backwards sneeze, which has a definite snort to it, is harmless. Some dogs get it more than others. There are also allergies, both food and environmental. Have you had your vet take a look? I wish you luck in discovering the cause.
