| Kipper is crying when he poops My kipper just started crying really loud when he poops Is there anything I could give him to soften his stools?

| oh poor sweet boy. is he having a hard time pooping? If so give him pure plain pumpkin (comes in a can) if not.. if he is pooping ok... call the vet.. it could be something else. |

| ok thanks I'll try that today when I get home from work. But will he have really loose stools after that? Just so I can watch out for him going on the carpet

| um.. probably not REALLY loose... canned pumpkin works well for both diarrhea and constipation so i can't see it making his poop REALLY loose... but keep in mind it won't be immediate. |

| ok thanks for your help My husband called and told me when he cleaned him up right now that he has alittle blood there but only when he wiped it. I hope its nothing serious. I told him what you said and he is going to go get some pumkin from the store and doggie wipes to keep him clean back there.

| his poop is pretty solid all the time, that why I think he just needs something to soften it up alittle.
