Donating YT 11K Club Member | London is not feeling well at all! I don't know what is up with her but for the past few days she has been sick, i know you're prob. thinking why haven't i taken her to the vet...well it's very weird. See, 3 days ago she had really runny poop and it was really smelly, not how it usually is. All she's been eating is her regular food, and i gave them all carrots as treats. Since then i stopped giving it to them, all 3 seemed to have runny poop all over my house but then seemed to get better. Teddy and Sophie are fine. And London was too until i noticed she pooped diarrhea again the next day. She's been eating just fine the past couple days, yesterday morning and afternoon she was a little lethargic and sleeping all day but at night she was playing and fighting as usual with Sophie and Teddy and i thought she was all better. All she ate was her food which is cal. natural. Now this morning she pooped all over the room again and even on my bed she vomited for the 2nd time but it looks like diarrhea, my bf told me it was vomit. It's discusting and the smell is horrible! idk if it's the food or what can be causing this but the other 2 are fine. She was just shaking a few minutes ago and when i checked her gums were WHITE! She is tiny so i immediately panicked, i dont have nutrical and looked for honey but none of that either, so i gave her water mixed with some sugar and she drank a little, her gums are light pink now. I'm going to go buy some pedialyte..should i feed her white rice and chicken? What should i do? If she doesn't get better atleast by this afternoon i am going to make a vet appt. but i know they will be all booked until tom.. or the nxt day and i am worried it will be like last time she was sick, i took her to a vet and they couldn't tell me what was wrong with her She got better in a couple days after and i paid money for no reason at all. I'm really worried and don't know what else to do I should add in my room i have this scent package i got from Bed Bath and Beyond and an open package spilled on the floor under my bed and i didn't know and yesterday she was under the bed chewing something, my bf thought she was eating her poop cause she does that, and he tried to get her to come out but he was not sure, she may have eaten some of this stuff...i highly doubt it cause she had signs of sickness before that but i could be...but other than that she has only been eating her food. I am thinking to completely have her stop eating it, and only cook her rice and chicken for today, i feel like she is getting sick cause of it....but i have no idea since Teddy and Sophie are completely normal and they are eating the same food...please HELP! I'm panicking over here, shes just laying down looking so sad and cold And yes she is wrapped up in blankets too

| White gums can mean something very serious is going on. With her not feeling well I personally wouldn't even want to wait til this afternoon. This could mean anemia or shock. Nutrical isn't really going to do much of anything if it is one of these. It probably isn't the food if the other two are better. I'd go to the vet with a stool sample and they might want to take blood (and it is probably best). I would at least call and ask to talk to a vet or tech immediately and they may want to see her now.

| Geez, that sounds a little scary to me. I would call the vet, especially since she is so small and is having those problems. If your regular one is booked up, is there another one you could go to without having to wait several days? Good luck, I hope she is okay.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Could she be getting sick from eating poop? Pixie will eat poop if I don't see it right away and has no reaction, Roxie will also eat it once and awhile and gets so sick, she throws up poop and has diahrrea and acts sick. I would probab;y take her in since it has not resolvedon its own yet. Good luck

I just checked her gums again, they are a little darker pink like normal. And her nose is warm indicating she is warming up , before it was cold. Right now i am making her some rice and white chicken to see if she will eat that cause she doesnt even want to eat a treat. I am going to call the vet now to see what they think i should do.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | She might have a flu. Take her to the vet and get her checked. Could it be the carrots. Some times raw veggies can cause the squishies.

| If she did eat any amount of something from Bed Bath and Beyond, that probably could've done this but I'm not sure it would give her white gums... If she is still throwing up, feeding her may not be a good idea. When is the last time she ate? Have you tried Pedialyte?

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Dog Flu.... My coworker just told me something about a dog flu in ny and nj. It's saying that it's contagious and a lot of the symptoms London has. Said you can avoid it by avoiding dog parks and that sort of stuff. I will get the link. Pet owners worry as dog flu spreads across U.S. - Pet health - MSNBC.com

Donating YT 11K Club Member | I just read the article, thank you. I don't think she has that cause it says symptoms include cough, runny nose, trouble breathing and she has none of those, as of right now its just diarrhea and vomiting and she hasn't been to the dog park or around other dogs but mine for the past couple days, since they first had diarrhea, they have only gone to my bf's house, which there is another dog there that belongs to his sis but he is fine. I did see the carrots in their poop, i think that could have made them go but i don't think it would make her terribly sick like that. I think it could be something else, maybe she ate something i didn't see, but i doubt that too cause i follow them like a hawk lol
