| Something wrong and I don't know what I have no idea what happened. I have been outside and it's dark. Lily was within a few feet of me playing. Then she started running around wildly. Like I said it is dark so I didn't see anything happen. When she began running around, I thought it looked liked she had her head turned to one side. I brought her in immediately and she was crying. When we got inside, she kept running away from us with her head turned to the side. When I touch her ear or the side of her head she crys. I don't see anything wrong or anything in her ear. She is curled up sleeping now. What in the world do you suppose happened? There aren't any emergency vets around here so that isn't an option. What do you all think I should do?

| I forgot to mention that she was also shaking. She doesn't appear to be now though.

| Check and see if she has any marks on her anywhere. I had something similar happen to Memphis about a week ago and it ended up being one of them great big black bugs with the giant pinchers on it that got him. Otherwise she could have gotten something in her hair and it really freaked her out. And last but not least she could have just gotten a bug in there and freaked out. See how she acts though when she gets up. Hope she is OK |

| Thanks for your reply Kelly. I just tried to look her over again and she will have nothing to do with that. Very unlike her. She keeps running away from me with her head turned sideways.

| Well, I hope it's just a bug bite and it's irritating her. If it's her first bug bite or bee sting, she might be scared and not know what to do. Is there any bumps or swelling? I wonder if ear cleaning solution may help at all? Can you take a flashlight and look into her ear at all? |

| Thanks for asking everyone. Lily is fine now. Wow did she freak me out! A bug got in to her ear and was also freaking her out. Of course I didn't figure this out for quite awhile. She is back to normal and being a little cuddle bug again. Thank goodness!!!!!
