| ![]() Thank you for all the posts and responses. He is scheduled to have the liver test done next week. He has been acting normal since he went to the vet. I agree with the salt for dehydration comment that was made. Hard to believe the vet would suggest that. We were told it is going to be about $4-5K for all the tests once they have completed them. ALso getting a second opinion |

| ![]() $4000 to $5000 for tests? Did I read that right? Maybe for the entire surgery for liver shunt, but not just for the tests! ![]() Go directly to a new vet. Do not pass go...do not collect... GO!

| ![]() Please do not wait till next WEEK! The test part will not be over $150. Shunt talk now and thinking about 5 grand is the "cart before the horse" I have already been through what you are facing! You can not wait till next week! One thing for sure! You will lose this little fellow if you don't get him to a vet NOW. |
