I have it on morgan (i don't know why) and it doesn't cover her LP surgery or any other major surgery (i recently checked) godforbid if she needs it. I'm not getting it for mylie until i leave my hospital job. it does cover vaccines/heartworm/spay/dental stuff but i get a lot of that for free now  so i'm paying monthly for nothing lol
Do you think that sted and tate seem to have more problems then your other ones because you dote on them more? i mean, you pay more attention to every little thing that they do because their so small and certain things you read make you paranoid. When you hear about terrible things that could happen people start to think that when their pet does something weird that their must be something horribly wrong with them.
Honestly i would have never checked morgan for liver issues if i hadn't read about it and became worried from this site. Morgan's fine, but i just HAD to test her because i thought maybe somehow she had a shunt. i'm sure things like this happen to other people here too. | You're probably totally right about the insurance girl. I think I am just going to pass as it probably wouldn't cover anything just said you said - because they are pre-existing conditions. :( We honestly are ok with paying for things, but I just thought that the insurance might help being that we are at the darn vets so much :( However, if I want, I could always open up another account as someone said and just put some money aside every month - you know, "just in case" money. It would be good (and smart) to do. Cause my babies are living proof that ya never know what might happen or when the next vet visit will be....Lord knows that lately with us, it's been pretty darn often  lol.
As far as my babies go, sigh.....I don't know what it is :( I know I DO worry about them more because they are small...you're right, but I tell ya, they really DO have more problems. I haven't had to take Pippi or Peach, OR Brinkley (the cat) in for ANYTHING "medically" wrong (other than to get shots) the whole entire time that I've have both Stedman and Tatum - and between the both of them (Steddy and Tator) I've been to the vet I don't even know how many times...I lost count! lol.
Oh well, regardless they are my babies and I'd walk through fire for them :) It doesn't matter to me what problems they have....all I can do is fix them and make them better - that's all that any of us can do :) |
