Senior Yorkie Talker | lungs sound congested i had to take kati out of town last week..i was helping a friend by doggie sitting..someone else was sitting the week before..when i got there the other sitter told me she sprayed raid bug spray due to ants on the floor..i washed the floor but could still smell the odor..within a day or 2 kati seemed to get congested and semed to have a hard time breathing..i took her to an emergency vet and he was not sure what to do, he said her lungs seemed pretty good and then i told him she has a collapsed trachea(minor just slight).at this point he gave me a medication called diphenoxtlate hydrochloride and atropine sulfate oral solution..does anyone know about this medication.,.he gave her one dose of it the night we were there but i didn't give her another dose , she seemed a little better..i made arrangements to come back home the next day..she seems quite a lot better..does anyone know what else to do for collapsed trachea? |

| I have no advice to give, but just want to say I'm sorry that you had such a scare! Glad she's doing better now that she's out of there.
