| If the pup has AAI it does not take a injury to aggravite the area.. I can tell you this from experiance.. I have a AAI pup all he did was jump offf my lap and he broke his neck.. It does not take much.. He turned once and that bothered him also.. SO Please Have them do a Digital Xray of his neck.. Ask them about Atlantoaxial Instability. If you want some information on this you can go to Babybear's dogster page read his story section and then read the second entry in his diary.. Please don't let you baby jump off anything until you find out.. I sure hope he is better soon, but if you need more help let us all know..

| I just read this and I am worried. I pray you were able to find a vet to help diagnosis your babies problem. It could be very serious like AAI or it may be something simple like a muscle spasm...only a qualified vet can tell you, after running the appropriate test. Best wishes...thoughts and prayers!!!

| I do not want to scare, however most general vets do not understand a Yorkie. They are the most fragile lovable and wonderful furry baby you will ever own. They do not live a life in a normal "pack mode" like all my other furry best friends. Yorks think they are Human. You have him checked by a Vet with proper equipment to give IV's and the tests needed to make your Baby well. Under the skin fluids will not get him back to balance so the real problem can found, It takes an IV to get the sugar back in his blood. Had I not listened to advice here in May, my boy Harry would not be with me, if you delay you will be like me with the most expensive York in Louisiana. All due to bad vets actions. Good Luck |
