| i would call your vet. It is too easy to overdose. Also i dont even know if mylicon drops are safe. this is what i found. Symptoms Of A Killer Gastric Torsion, better known as "Bloat" is the perfect example of a condition that requires immediate attention or the dog could die within an hour. After cancer, "bloat" is the second leading killer of dogs, usually targeting large deep chested dogs. "Bloat" gives no warning and happens quickly. It is described as an excessive build up of gas and dilation and is often followed by "volvulus" which is a twisting of the stomach. Symptoms include: unsuccessful vomiting abdominal swelling whimpering pacing and restless lying down in unusual places salivating |

| How's the baby doing? I've used Mylicon drops before, but not on a pup that young. I've used it on my yorkie before for gas problems...My vet is the one who recommended this... I hope the pup is okay....

| She's still doing OK-- I took her to the vet late yesterday afternoon and he found nothing out of the ordinary. What I discovered in the course of the day was that she seems to be rejecting the bottle feeding but calms right down and latches tightly to Mom when put on her. Mom is having a problem maintaining her calcium so I'm trying to feed the pups by hand as much as possible. I've never had one get this fussy before. Bottle feeding can cause gas problems and I read somewhere to keep Mylecon on hand just in case, but didn't record the dosage. Somewhere yesterday I read something about "one or two drops." |
