Symptoms Of A Killer
Gastric Torsion, better known as "Bloat" is the perfect example of a condition that requires immediate attention or the dog could die within an hour. After cancer, "bloat" is the second leading killer of dogs, usually targeting large deep chested dogs. "Bloat" gives no warning and happens quickly. It is described as an excessive build up of gas and dilation and is often followed by "volvulus" which is a twisting of the stomach. Symptoms include:

unsuccessful vomiting

abdominal swelling

whimpering

pacing and restless

lying down in unusual places

salivating
That is good info and we have had a pup die on here before because of bloat so you have to be careful
