Tomorrow (Tuesday) Logan is having another bile acids test. We should know something by the end of the week. He has had NO symptoms whatsoever of a liver shunt. He is even taking medication for coccidia that is metabolized through the liver, and still no reaction. I feel very confident that he does not have a shunt.

I'll let you know when we find out something.

I posted his results under a separate topic, but just in case you didn't see it....his pre-meal bile acid level was normal (1.6). His post-meal was only slightly above normal, which is 20. His was 33. So, he just needs to continue on his low protein diet and take Lactulose, although I'm wondering if that is necessary. We are very relieved!!

Thanks for the update...because yes, I did miss your other thread. I miss a lot around here...regardless, I am happy to hear his results were near normal.
