| Feeling a little better...Allergies anyone? But still has wheezing and raspy cough-especially in the morning and at night. I have also noticed a ton of sneezing. My house is clean and not dusty (as far as I can tell). Sounds like allergies-the Benadryl isn't working very well though. He still coughs up quite a bit of clear mucous in the morning too. I feel so bad for him. We go back to the vet monday for a follow up. I would like to know more about allergies and how to diagnose, treat. Surely there is something more effective than Benadryl.

Make sure you limit his time outside when his allergie's are bad this will help alot. Most likely it's outside allergie's. |

| Mochi (9 months old) had the same allergy. She started sneezing and got more serious and cough out some mucus. I rushed her to the emergency and to vet said it would possible be allergy (she wasn't sure ). I gave her some Benadryl for a few days and she is now back to normal. I hope your baby feels better soon.

| I think Bleu Boy has allergies and I just let it run its course and he was fine within due time. I am so afraid to give him anything now! I was ruling everything out and in all reality TIME IS WHAT HEALED HIM! Be careful your baby does not have tonsilitis or strep and trust me they get it ... THAT NEEDS TO BE TREATED but you can ask your doctor about BRONCHIAL DIALATORS I have not used them and do not plan on it but some have and say it is effective GOOD LUCK!

| If your baby is having allergies like that and hacking up stuff, the vet can give you cough meds and possibly a bronchial dilator depending...
