Hi Everyone - I cannot thank you enough for the prayers & good thoughts. The x-rays, bloodwork, tests for giardia (and some other stuff) all came back clear. So, the doctor is treating it as a bad bacterial infection - Pi'i got 2 shots to calm everything down and will be on antibiotics and pepcid. He can only have 1-3T of chicken & rice every 4 hours for the next day and a half - he's already 'very' upset about that - LOL! Thanks again Amber and all of you that responded - it really helped knowing you were all behind me!

Oh no!! We'll be praying for Pi'i and our thoughts are with Eva as well.

Did he suggest canned i/d to keep him hydrated? Mine both had similar situation and they could only eat i/d for 2 weeks!! also mild on belly and bowels since he was pooping blood...poor baby hope he feels better soon!

She did ask what food he eats (Life's Abundance) and because his gums look good, he's drinking well and not showing any signs of dehydration she said to do the chicken/rice for a couple days and then gradually add his kibble back in. Am keeping my fingers crossed that the meds calm his tummy down quickly

I'm glad the tests came back clear! I'll keep you guys in my prayers that this goes away. Hope he's feeling better!

Oh thank goodness that Pi'ilani is ok..... just an upset tummy....

Now Pi'ilani you need to quit eating things off the ground and ONLY eat the good stuf that your mommy feeds you

I know - I should've named him Hoover - he sucks up everything off the ground! I'm sure he got something at the park last weekend

Thanks, everyone! It was soooo hard leaving him home this afternoon but I'm shorthanded at work and being the Dir. of HR I really needed to be there

I'm pretty sure he just slept off the morning's trauma cause he is running around and full of beans this evening - LOL! I'm glad it's a long weekend cause all I want to do is stay home and love on my babies
