| sick 4 week old puppy pebbles pups are now 4 weeks old. the biggest of them the little boy was struggling to go to the bathroom this morning. he was in the squating position for 2 or 3 minutes but nothing was coming out. finally came out an orangish mucus. afterwards he started to scoot his butt along the carpet. does any one have any idea what this could be? im just really worried because they dont have any shots yet. he still has normal energy... and is eating fine. i havent had them dewormed? could this possibly be it?

| I can't help, sorry. If you don't get any answers, try posting this in the breeders section. You'll have better luck if some of the breeders read it.

| I don't know either. Just wanted to say I hope he is OK. Posting this in the breeder section is a great suggestion.

| thanks guys. i made an appointment at the vet for him for today, but this morning is poopies are back to normal. his energy level never went down and he never stopped eating. so the only think i can think of is maybe he had a bad reaction to the puppy food or formula that he ate this weekend.

| I start my worming regime at 2 weeks old. Then again at 4 weeks old. You may also want to shave the bums before you have a little plug up. |
